I had the pleasure of watching your panel being judged and I can honestly say your images are amazing. Having not met you, I looked around but could not see any signs to indicate who this panel belonged to. Watching the judges leave the room then return the unanimous vote to award Associateship was emotional enough, but you had most of us in tears when they announced the Fellowship. You should be hugely proud of your achievements and it was a pleasure to met you, even if just briefly, at the awards dinner.

Simon, fascinating stuff. You may be aware that I have come across your work via a family connection of yours.

I’m a bit of a closet photographer too. Well, you are not exactly as closet as me in fact, what with an exhibition in Harrogate library and all.
Would be good to meet and chew the cud a bit one day.
